It's Been A While!

Minasan, Konnichiwa..

I was contemplating on whether or not I should update this blog.
It's been a while, and no updates from me,
it's almost like the death of this blog & updating it would make no difference.

The thing is I've been busy this past couple of months.
Running around like a monkey doin everything from A-Z.
From compiling guest lists, printing them to sticker papers
to going for fitting for my wedding dress & choosing the wedding dais.
Sometimes it feels surreal.
Getting married in 16 days, but being busy like it isn't my wedding.

Sometimes I would feel like breaking down with too much things to do
and no one helping
But I swallowed it all & kept on moving
Even though I'm so dead tired inside.

Now with the dust a little settled, I have a little time to just
maybe organize my Bachelor/Bachelorette party, which I still don't know
what we'll be doin. I still have to do the planning, I still have
to pull it through & I still have to pay for everything.

Not that i'm complaining about getting married.
Everyone has told me that I looked a little cheerier & happier
ever since I announced my wedding dates.
I am happy, sincerely, just very worn out..

Can't wait for Bali..

+ + My Fate, Your Love + +

I still remember what he was like the first time we met.

His nickname in IRC. His long hair. When he came to my house.
At first, he was just a friend.
Someone who will only be a friend. Not the friend.

He came over to meet up my sister. They were best buddies.
At that time I wasn't dressed decently,
wearing only this short Japanese-schoolgirl skirt
with skinny tee (and no I wasn't doing anything
indecent)

I ran upstairs when he came, but I managed to greet
him on my way up

"Hi Raytzar!!"
"Hi!" He responded, confused, but friendly as always.

Sometimes I see him online and I would say Hi,
but I knew he was seeing someone and I was
seeing someone, so nothing happened between us.

When I went over to UK to complete my degree,
he was already there. He helped out my sister
to move all her junks to my room.

He was still another friend at the time.
Still a stranger to me.

But seeing that I'll be going to gigs with him and
hanging out at his place alot, I had to be friendly.
HAD. I actually dreaded it!

We went to our first gig together. It was
Smashing Pumpkin's last concert before they dismembered.
After the concert we became closer friends.
But I was still seeing someone else.
So we decided to stay as friends first.

But fate had a different agenda though.

Our friendship quickly matured to best buddies.
We had too much in common. Same understanding,
Same initials, same music preference..

Late November, I broke off with my (then) BF to be with him.

That was 7 years ago.
Until today I can't believe I'm wearing his engagement ring
Or that we're engaged.

Fate and time played an important role in my life.

I was accepted to Unitel for a premedia arts and science course but rejected the offer because Mom wanted me to be near (way to go momma!).
So I took Computing Science in A.P.I.I.T.
The course was a twinning programme; I could either complete it in U.K, Australia or here in Malaysia.
I chose to do it in Staffordshire, England where I then met him.

At that moment, I was actually waiting for the right time to get out of a very turbulent relationship.

If I had gone with Unitel, I would most probably still be in the turbulent
relationship, feeling more suicidal and depressed than ever and maybe never found love.

Fate brought me to him. But the Almighty laid the path for me to follow.

Let it go & let god decide.

+ Captain Planet & The Japanese Wannabe +

Today's Core Banking Bowling Fiesta was pretty cool. We, "Captain Planet & The Planeteers" managed to get the 9th spot.I tell you, that's pretty good for a team with two veteran longkangers. Gambate ne me!!

There's this one abang dude from CIF who keeps ngendenging at me, as if coaching me how to bowl.If he ain't married, it doesn't bother me that much. But a dude with a wife and kid really shouldn't be hanging out with other girls. Especially hot ones. Like me..*pstttttt* (this is when I put my finger on my tongue and touch my bootay and say "Psstttttt" as if i'm on fire. Get it? :D )

But seriously man.. Why are married men gatal ? It's an unexplainable mystery.

Anyhow, we bowled 3 straight games, we had a prize ceremony, we had fun.

After the game, went off to KLCC to soak a little action: a spot of shopping that is. On our way we bumped into ouji san Ng, our President of the Japanese-Wanna-Be club. So we headed to Kinos to get a load of Takuya & Kat-tun, watched Sinking of Japan & ate sushi.

12 hours out. And parking fees totalling to RM23.00!!! Madness!

+ + My Assassin + +

Depression's got a new name. Me.
My stinky foul mood got even worse this wee morning.
After all the stress from home & work, the deprivation
of sleep & (good)food and feeling like shit because of the yoga,
I had to deal with the Crap Lady.

Crap lady is THE security administrator.
We're not talking about security guards & badges & chotis here.
We're talking about the high-tech network security access that is
remotely related to my job.

Her name is NORHAYATI. And her job is to assign
a security class for our dialog screens. It's like giving a
visitor's pass to visitors so they can access certain floors.
But put that in an IT environment, and that is what she is doing.
She gives access to certain programs(Think: Floors) for certain Users(Think : Visitors).

She's a self-righteous dudette with a fierce face to match.
She never ever smiles. Ever.
And probably never cracked a joke in her entire life either.

Today I had a request.
She read my request.And said:-

"What is the security class for this menu?"
(Funny why she's askin me when she's the one assigning it)

As I wasn't sure about it, I had to call her back &
before she put down her phone, she said in the most cynical tone ever:-

"Next time make sure there's no errors"

DUH. Like aku suka suka buat salah. Let's do this:-
"LALALALA. hey aku nak buat salahlah. Meh aku letak salah nama menu."

Biyatch!

So I checked on the menu she wanted, found out that I was indeed
CORRECT & I called her back:-
Me: "Kak Yati, I can see the MGMMAINT in the ADSA"
(pls read this statement as if you understand what I'm talking about)

pause. silence

Dudette with Attitude Problem: "Well, I don't have the records here. How come there's no records here?"
Me: "Uhhhh.. I don't know. I'm not doing the security thing"
DWAP: (checks on something) Oh you put it here in response. It's not supposed to be here. It's misleading
Me: "What? But i've done it so many times and you never said anything about it"
DWAP: (silence) Next time don't do it.*hangs up*

WAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

So she changes her procedure whenever she pleases.
This is Great.Just Great!

And she's just 1 of the millions of disgruntled ex-employees
who's out to pulverize any remaining Mebengkers of
their living will.

Don't get me started on the Migration Team!!
I swear, Choong's sole purpose in life is to give me a heart attack.

My chest hurts every time I deal with these clowns.
At the rate I'm going,I would probably have to dig my
own grave, lie in it and ask someone to kindly cover
my entire body with dirt.

STRESS GILE!!!

Countdown to Resignation: 9 months.

+ A Chapter Closed +

Yoohoo!!!

Finally I'm able to update the blog after a whirlwind
of projects & engagement preparations.

What's new is now I'm engaged to my boyfriend of
6 years, Mr Rambo. Of coz it's the greatest feeling
in the world, being able to finally move to the next
step after a long time. And blessed. Some friends
have also reached the 6 years mark but did not
make it to the engagement phase, so I'm ecstatic that
my jodoh is still with him.

The engagement affair was like I dreamed it would be.
My handmade hantaran, DIY Pelamin & staircase decor.
Though a little disappointed that a couple of important
friends could not make it & caterers were being a couple
of ass wipes & came in late, but I'm pretty happy with
how things turned out.

Thanks to my kakak for that extra special sexy touch
on the staircase. Oooh la la!! Eric Leong pun kalah u!

And Pak Don Belli for the oh-so-sexy Pelamin.

Watch out Pak Abu. Here comes Pak Don Belli..
